This free informational session is intended for family or friends who have a connection with someone who has a neurological disorder.

There are many tasks and responsibilities when caring for a family member or friend which can be a major source of stress. The physical, psychological and social consequences of caring for a loved one with a neurological disorder are significant. It is common to feel angry, irritable, unhappy, alone or isolated or to have experienced depression or sleep problems.

Learn the tools to help bring the balance back to your life.

Objectives for this session:

1) To identify the impact of family caregiving
2) Discover that you are not alone
3) Leave the evening having tools and resources to manage the challenges of caregiving

We will use video clips, photos and discussion to ensure that this session is engaging and that you leave feeling empowered that you can take care of yourself while supporting the person that you are caring for.
